Happy Father’s Day! 💙

Today, we celebrate fathers like Shewa, who moved his family from Ethiopia to Seattle in search of a brighter future for his children.

After finding a home at Chalet, an Imagine Housing community, Shewa and his family finally had the stability they needed to put down roots and plan for the future. Shewa earned a degree in horticulture and built a career at Bellevue Botanical Garden, while his children have had the opportunity to thrive in school and pursue their own dreams.

This Father’s Day, we honor the dads, grandfathers, father figures, and caregivers who work every day to create opportunities for the next generation. Their love, determination, and sacrifice help build stronger families and communities.

Today we recognize Juneteenth, a day of remembrance, celebration, and reflection. It marks the end of slavery in the United States and honors the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black Americans throughout our nation's history.

As we celebrate freedom and progress, we also acknowledge the work that remains to create communities where everyone has the opportunity to thrive. At Imagine Housing, we believe that access to safe, stable housing is an important part of building a more equitable future for all.

Imagine Housing offices are closed today in observance of Juneteenth.

At Imagine Housing we create a community for those who need it most: so families can put down roots, so kids can be kids, and so our elderly community can age in place. The concept it simple. The process is not. So let us break it down for you.

🔨 Progress continues at Highland Gardens!

Renovations are underway thanks to an $8 million grant from the Washington State Department of Commerce's Multi-Family Building Efficiency Grant Program, funded through the Climate Commitment Act.

These upgrades will improve energy efficiency, modernize the property, and enhance residents' quality of life. Improvements include a new cool roof system, updated gutters, windows, doors, siding, insulation, appliances, and LED exterior lighting.

Investing in our existing communities is an important part of our mission. By maintaining and improving these homes, we help ensure they remain safe, comfortable, and affordable for current residents and future generations alike. 🏡💚
