As you’ve probably heard, the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act is now law, bringing together a broad package of reforms aimed at increasing housing production, improving access to financing, streamlining certain federal environmental reviews, and encouraging land-use and permitting reforms. Many provisions will take time to implement but will create new tools to address housing supply and affordability. This is a positive step in the right direction as we work to address housing shortages and improve affordability nationwide, and particularly in our region.

Thanks to the National Association of Home Builders, who played a key role in securing this important new law.

Last Friday, our MBAKS team partnered with Auburn Parks, Arts & Recreation and 79 volunteers to plant 109 trees at Brannan Park.

Home to one of Auburn's most heavily used sports complexes, Brannan Park serves local schools and neighborhood families every day. Together, we helped create shade and green space that will benefit the community for years to come.
