Exciting news!🙌 Bellevue Schools Foundation is searching for its next Executive Director.

Since 1979, BSF has invested over $25 million to support more than 19,000 students across Bellevue’s diverse public schools—funding programs in mental health, early learning, and academic enrichment that go beyond public funding.

The next Executive Director will serve as BSF’s lead fundraiser, most visible community ambassador, and organizational leader. Unlike many foundation roles, BSF’s Executive Director works in close, ongoing partnership with the schools and educators we fund, seeing the results of every investment come to life in real time. This is a uniquely impactful role for someone who is ready to dig in, build roots, and unlock BSF’s full potential as a force
for educational equity, innovation, and excellence in Bellevue.

📅 Priority consideration by June 12—help spread the word!

Celebrate the educators who make a difference—join Donate to Dedicate this Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4-8)! 🍎

As parents, we see it every day—the teacher who goes the extra mile, the counselor who listens, the coach who builds confidence. Donate to Dedicate is a simple, meaningful way to say thank you.

What is Donate to Dedicate?
It’s a special opportunity to make a gift in honor of a Bellevue School District teacher, staff member, or educator who has impacted your child’s life.

When you participate, you’re:

- Supporting students across all BSD schools
- Celebrating the people who show up for our kids every day
- Turning your appreciation into real impact
- Sending a heartfelt message of gratitude they’ll never forget

How it works (it’s quick!):

Give:
Make a donation of any amount: https://www.bellevueschoolsfoundation.org/donatetodedicate
Dedicate: Choose the educator you want to honor
Celebrate: Add a personal note and send them a digital cardđŸ„ł

Why it matters:
Behind every confident student is an educator who believed in them first. Teachers and staff don’t just teach—they encourage, inspire, and help shape our children’s futures.

This campaign is a way for our community to say: “You made a difference - and we see you”

“Social media. Immersive gaming. Early exposure to explicit content. Coming of age for boys is more complex than ever.

In this eye-opening ParentEd Talk, Dr. Cara Natterson (.awkward), The New York Times bestselling author of “Decoding Boys” and “The Care and Keeping of You,” will share practical ways to support your son through this critical stage of development, keep communication open and navigate today’s powerful digital influences.”

Learn:
â–ȘWhy boys go quiet during puberty - and what it
really means
â–ȘHow changes begin long before parents notice
â–ȘPractical strategies to stay connected at every age

Don’t let them navigate it alone.
