💙 Feel Good Friday 💙

Yesterday, we held our final Summer at the Club event at our Lake Hills Teen Center!

Volunteers got to hear all about our teen programs before packing summer essentials for Club Kids at our various summer sites. Among our Club speakers were Teen Center superstars Jordan Harrington and T who came together to create an amazing tour and Q & A experience for all of our volunteers.

Big shout out to former Bellevue mayor and current King County Councilmember Claudia Balducci and representatives from Nintendo of America for showing up for kids in Bellevue yesterday! 🤘🤘

As we wrap up a wonderful volunteer series, we'd like to thank all of our wonderful supply kit donors Walmart Neighborhood Market Bellevue, Trader Joes, Whole Foods Market and Nintendo of America as well as our drink and snack providers Third Culture Coffee and Mercurys Coffee Co.

The start of school is just a few weeks away and at BGCB we know what happens after school matters just as much as the school day.

At Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue, we believe Clubs are where a connection, a helping hand, and a mentor can change the trajectory of a kid’s day, and their future. Clubs are where homework gets done, new interests take shape, leadership skills grow, and confidence builds.

From elementary school through career exploration, we’re here to help young people discover what they’re capable of and feel ready for what comes next.

🎬Feel Good Friday🎬

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue has been selected as the featured nonprofit at the City of Bellevue's Downtown Movies in the Park next Tuesday August 11th, and we would love to see some familiar faces there. We will have a table at the event and would be thrilled to have board members, friends and family come out and cheer us on!

This week's theme is Island Vibes and the feature film is Lilo and Stitch, a perfect fit for a warm summer evening in downtown Bellevue. Pre-movie activities kick off at 7:00 p.m. with the movie starting around 9:00 p.m. Thanks for having us City of Bellevue, Washington - Government !

📚✨ Back-to-school season is almost here, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue is ready to help! We're teaming up with the Bellevue School District Welcome Center to make getting ready for fall a little easier. 🍎

Need help with childcare registration? Stop by and chat with a member of our BGCB team at the Welcome Center:
🗓️ Tuesdays: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
🗓️ Thursdays: 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
📅 Beginning Thursday, August 6, and continuing every week until school begins!

For nearly 75 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue has been helping kids learn, grow, and have fun in safe, welcoming spaces. This school year, we're proud to be the provider of before and after school care for preschool and school-age students attending Bellevue School District schools.

Our Club kiddos met the U.S. Navy Blue Angels yesterday and Seafair Festival Weekend is finally here! ✈️💙

If that is not the perfect way to kick off the weekend we do not know what is. The Blue Angels take to the skies at 3:30 PM today over Lake Washington. Go find your spot and enjoy every second. 🎉
