PAMA President Jason Lyon was recently featured in a MarketWatch article discussing the rising cost of motor oil and its implications for drivers and the quick l**e industry.

“The timing of it is absolutely horrible,” Lyon said, noting that oil changes that were recently running $80 to $100 are now moving toward “$100 to $120 and higher.” He also shared, “We’re past the point of being able to absorb. The industry has already started price increases for consumers.”

A new iSeeCars.com study projects wide differences in lifetime recall rates across vehicle brands and models, with Tesla ranking as the most-recalled brand and Mercedes-Benz, Toyota and Lexus leading the least-recalled side.

The study also found that 33 models are projected to experience one recall or fewer over a 30-year lifespan, while 25 models are projected to face at least 10 recalls.
