The 100 Club of Central Texas

The 100 Club of Central Texas The 100 Club of Central Texas leads the community in providing support for first responders and their families when tragedy strikes.

The 100 Club of Central Texas leads the community in providing support for first responders and their families, especially when tragedy strikes. We provide financial and emotional support when there has been a line of duty death or critical injury in addition to offering educational scholarships for active duty first responders; providing for memorial services for the canine and mounted unit offic

ers who die during or after their service; and supporting a ballistic vest grant for law enforcement departments. We support all emergency medical technicians, firefighters, and law enforcement officers in Bastrop, Bell, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties. The Club is funded by memberships and donations from community members and businesses who wish to show their appreciation for their local first responders.

Hester spent nearly three decades with the Texas Department of Public Safety and recently wrapped up his time as a commissioner for TCOLE after serving for the last 12 years. We thank him for his dedicated service to the law enforcement profession and wish him all the best in this next chapter.
