May was filled with movement, learning, connection, and community across Tarrant County. 💙

Throughout the month, the Health + Healing Hubs team hosted virtual and in-person health education classes focused on stress management, fitness, and wellness while continuing to build meaningful relationships throughout the community.

From bilingual stress management workshops and Zumba classes to cardio and strength fitness sessions, we were grateful to connect with community members across Fort Worth, Forest Hill, and beyond. We also celebrated the kickoff of our newest cohort with a special gathering centered on health, encouragement, and community support.

A huge thank you to our incredible partners, churches, community organizations, and participants who continue showing up, supporting one another, and prioritizing health together. Texas Health Community Hope, Rising Star Baptist Church, Higher Praise Family Church, Mercy Clinic of Fort Worth

We’re excited to continue growing healthier communities together this summer. ☀️

Quick stress check-in. 🌿

Drop your tongue from the roof of your mouth.
Relax your shoulders.
Take a deep breath.

Sometimes we don’t realize how much tension we’re carrying until we intentionally pause for a moment.

This week’s Community Challenge focus is all about building realistic tools to help manage stress and support your well-being through busy schedules, summer transitions, and everyday life.

Small resets matter. 💛

Brain Break: Feeling overwhelmed? Pause for one minute.

Try this simple box breathing exercise:
⬆️ Breathe in for 4
➡️ Hold for 4
⬇️ Breathe out for 4
⬅️ Hold for 4

Repeat a few times and let your body slow down with you.

Small pauses can make a big difference during stressful days, busy schedules, and summer chaos.

Save this for when you need a reset. 💙

April has been an incredible month across our Health + Healing Hubs 💙

From in-person classes to meaningful conversations, we’ve spent this month focusing on one simple but powerful idea, getting active in ways that fit your life! 🚶‍♀️

Not every step looks the same. For some, it’s joining a class 🧘‍♂️ For others, it’s moving more at home, building routines, or simply starting again after a pause 🔄 What matters is finding what works for you and continuing to show up.

We’re proud of the communities showing up, supporting one another, and building habits that last 🤝
