Strong communities don't wait until disaster strikes to prepare.

The Amplify Fund is investing in community resilience by providing a $1,000 matching opportunity for nonprofits in Public Safety, Disaster Relief & Emergency Response.

From disaster response to long-term recovery efforts, these organizations help keep Central Texas safe before, during, and after times of crisis.

Through July 8, every donation of $5 or more will be matched until the full $1,000 match has been unlocked.

What does nonprofit membership at I Live Here I Give Here actually look like? 👀

Over the past few weeks, nonprofit members joined us for workshops focused on storytelling, networking, fundraising, media training, and authentic community connection.

At ‘Using Improv to Boost Your Networking & Fundraising Game’, an improv-based workshop led by and hosted at , one attendee described the experience as “equal parts stretching and affirming” and a reminder that this work is powered by “people, relationships, and a willingness to show up fully.”

Then at our ‘Getting Media Ready’ workshop with , a nonprofit shared they walked away with “practical tools, fresh confidence, and a deeper understanding of how to share our stories in ways that truly connect with the Central Texas community.”

These experiences are designed to help nonprofit leaders strengthen their voices, build meaningful visibility, and better advocate for the communities they serve.

Yesterday, we had the honor of receiving a proclamation from the Mayor’s Office officially recognizing March 4, 2026 as Amplify Austin Day.

We’re grateful to our City leaders for recognizing the power of this community-wide movement and the incredible nonprofits that make Central Texas stronger every day.

Since 2013, Amplify Austin Day has raised $122.4 million for 1,600+ local nonprofits, and it’s only possible because this community continues to show up.

Thank you to Council Member Zohaib Qadri for visiting our office to present the proclamation and celebrate the impact we’re building together.
