Our 28th Season of Dance is here 🎉. SAVE THE DATES and tell your friends!

First up is a new work that will premiere 👉 November 5th-7th 👈. Six dancers and three musicians will perform on the basketball/recreational court at Alamo Pocket Park. I was lucky enough to see choreographer Jeremy Nedd’s work on that same court last Spring during Fusebox. While brainstorming locations for an outdoor piece my mind went back to the spaciousness of that court and getting to see dancers inhabit it. More information about this new work is coming, for now though, please save the date and plan to join us outside for some dance, live music and much anticipated cooler weather November 5th-7th.

Want more information about the rest of our season events? Sign up for our newsletter at the link in our bio and also check out Austin Dance Festival for all things festival related. Applications are open until December 1st. We’d love to produce your work in a state-of-the-art theater, whether it’s a dance film or a live work.

See you out there!

Love, Loss & OTHER CONSTELLATIONS premiered in May 2026 to a sold-out audience. It was the first time since 1999 that KDHDC premiered a work without KDH herself in attendance.

It was tough. It also felt necessary and very Kathy to keep moving forward, using dance as a way to process our grief and bring us all closer together.

Love you, Kathy. We’re still here, dancing for ya.
