We are thrilled to announce an exciting, one-of-a-kind sewing adventure, and even prouder to share that two of our very own ASG Austin members, Jam and Anastasia, are the creative minds organizing it!
Tailored at Sea (February 14–21, 2027) is the only garment sewing cruise sailing out of the US in 2027, departing right from Galveston, TX. Whether you want to master custom fit or simply enjoy dedicated sewing time surrounded by fellow textile lovers, this is set to be an unforgettable week on the water.
What Makes This Cruise Extraordinary?
🧵 Hands-On Workshops & Open Studio: Learn to custom-draft and sew t-shirts and trousers, or bring your own WIPs (works-in-progress) to work on with expert guidance on hand.
🎁 Loaded Gift Bag & Materials Provided: Every cruiser receives 3 yards of Texas organic cotton jersey (Spiritex), 3 yards of merino wool jersey (Nature's Fabrics), and a chance to win premium wool suiting (Kabbani Textiles).
