We always appreciate the chance to talk about the importance of sibling connections and the impact our community has in helping siblings separated by foster care and adoption spend meaningful time together.

HELP US MAKE MAGIC THIS AUGUST

Camp is right around the corner, and we still have a few important volunteer positions to fill before we can welcome all of the siblings who have applied to attend.

We're looking for Overnight Counselors to join us August 8th–16th. Every counselor who joins our team helps us say "yes" to more siblings waiting to reconnect with their brothers and sisters.

We're also seeking Day Volunteers August 11th-16th. Whether you can give one shift, one day, or several days throughout the week, your behind-the-scenes support helps make camp possible.

In addition, we are looking for a Maine-licensed medical professional to join us August 8th–16th and help keep our campers healthy and safe throughout the week.

We're excited to share some big news for the 2026 camp season!

Camp To Belong Maine is heading back to where it all began. For the 2026 season, camp will be hosted at Camp Wigwam in Waterford, Maine.

Camp Wigwam holds a special place in our history, and we're thrilled to return to the place where so many sibling reunions, friendships, and memories were first made.

While our location is changing, our mission remains the same: creating opportunities for siblings separated by foster care and adoption to reconnect, strengthen their bonds, and simply be together.

We can't wait to make new memories while honoring the place where our Camp To Belong Maine story began.

August 11th–16th, 2026. We're coming home.

Before the campers arrive, our incredible volunteers come together to prepare, learn, connect, and build the team that will help create a week of belonging for siblings from across Maine.
