Check out the Mobile Healthcare Association's new podcast series, 'Care In Motion: On The Road!' Our CEO Amelia is one of the guests!

Episode description: In this episode, I join Phillip Levy, Patrick Dineen, Amelia L., and Vickie Cranford-Lonquich to discuss our experiences and what it takes to make mobile healthcare not just impactful, but sustainable. We dig into the challenges that can determine whether a mobile program thrives or struggles, from reimbursement and billing to policy and long-term funding, as well as the partnerships and innovations that are beginning to change what is possible.

Mobile healthcare has spent years learning how to work within a system that wasn’t necessarily designed for it. What could be possible if we started designing the system for mobile healthcare, too? 👀

We believe in caring for each individual patient we work for and in noticing their value to our state. So far in 2026, we've cared for 841 unique patients. That's 841 neighbors who may not have otherwise had access to a healthcare provider. We are incredibly grateful for a community that believes in and supports our mission. https://www.mainemobile.org/about.html

We are setting records today! We will have 5 clinics operating in a single day! Our four mobile medical units and one behavioral health van are all on the road, bringing care directly to people who need it. Today's clinics include three Downeast locations and two Midcoast locations. We are grateful to everyone that has made this possible!!

We've been BUSY! This past week, we hosted 12 clinics including 6 at blueberry camps, 2 at apple camps, and 4 pop-up clinics. At these clinics we saw 106 patients for a combination of medical, behavioral health, nursing, and phlebotomy services. This doesn’t count all the people who came to say hello, to ask for their lab results, and to offer us big bags of apples, peaches, and corn. Thank YOU for supporting MMHP so we can keep bringing healthcare to the patients and their families throughout the state.

We recently had a chance with staff to pull out some paint brushes, blank canvasses and a bit of creativity to participate in a Team Art Workshop. This allowed us to create beautiful pieces that now brighten our office. Taking time to create, connect, and recharge helps us bring our best selves to work.
