For the first time, JA of Georgia is recognizing these partners through three awards designed to celebrate the organizations and individuals who help bring Junior Achievement programs to life for Georgia students!

Four of this year's award recipients were recognized in person during JA of Georgia's Fall 2026 Board Meeting on September 24: Dalton State College, recipient of the JA Partner Milestone Award for 900+ volunteers; Thurman Williams, recipient of the JA Volunteer Impact Award; and Dennis McGouirk and Mallory Safley, M.Ed., recipients of the JA Volunteer Champion Impact Award.

⛳ A day on the course. A bigger investment in what’s next.
Last week, the 2nd annual Cricket Wireless AT&T Play4JA Golf Tournament at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort brought together partners, supporters and friends of Junior Achievement of Georgia for a day of connection, competition and purpose.

Every year, Cricket makes a commitment to JA of Georgia, helping us raise funds while also championing our mission and advocating for the students we serve.

This year, two of our 19 Under 19 honorees took the stage to share their stories. Their incredible speeches gave everyone in the room a firsthand look at the impact JA can have on a student’s vision for their future. To watch their speeches, click the following links:

Coming together to invest in what’s next is what Play4JA is all about!
Thank you, Cricket and AT&T, for continuing to show up for Georgia’s students and for helping us turn opportunity into impact. 🏌️‍♀️💚

We heard reports from our officers including Board Chair, Ryan Marshall, and welcomed Jack Harris, CEO of Junior Achievement USA, who provided an inspiring presentation on the current and future work of JA across the country.

We are grateful to our directors for their dedication to our mission. Together, we are inspiring future skillsets and mindsets in our young people, and advancing economic mobility.

Great leaders. Meaningful connections.
We were proud to host a Laureate & Leadership Reception celebrating this year’s JA Northeast Georgia Business Hall of Fame Laureates.

The luncheon was a wonderful opportunity for this year’s honorees to connect with fellow Laureate Society members, share stories, build relationships, and celebrate the impact of leadership across Northeast Georgia.

We’re grateful for the incredible community of business and civic leaders who continue to champion Junior Achievement and invest in the next generation. 💙

Great conversations happen when leaders come together with a shared vision for the future. 💡
We were proud to welcome the Metro Atlanta Chamber’s ATL Talent Collaborative to the Junior Achievement of Georgia Chick-fil-A Discovery Center. Atlanta leaders came together to connect, collaborate, and explore the future of our region’s talent ecosystem.

As we work to prepare today’s students for tomorrow’s opportunities, we’re proud to contribute to the conversation through experiential learning, career readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
Attendees were able to get a firsthand look at how JA Discovery Centers and 3DE by Junior Achievement bring career-connected learning to life for students across Georgia.

When business, education, and community leaders come together, we create stronger pathways from the classroom to the careers of tomorrow. We’re grateful to be part of that work.
