Andrew Young's mural has been unveiled near 725 Rice Street NW on the . Former mayors Bill Campbell, Shirley Franklin, Kasim Reed, Keisha Lance Bottoms, and others attended the unveiling.

“We are honored to celebrate Ambassador Young’s commitment to the city of Atlanta and his legacy of impact,” said Beltline President and CEO Clyde Higgs. “It is our privilege to provide a space on the Atlanta Beltline for powerful messages and artwork like we see with this mural.”

To honor Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., a new statue has been dedicated to his memory at Rodney Cook Sr. Park in Vine City. The statue was designed by Kathy Fincher (who co-sculpted it with Stan Mullins) and inspired directly by Dr.King's last speech, "I've Been to the Mountaintop."
