Learning starts early 📚

Through our partnership with United Way of Greater Atlanta and The Villages at Carver Family YMCA, Learning Spaces creates opportunities for children ages birth to 5 and their caregivers to learn, play, and grow together in a safe and nurturing environment.

Join us every Friday from 10 AM–12 PM at the Villages at Carver Family YMCA for free early learning experiences designed to support school readiness, connection, and healthy development.

Parents, caregivers, and community members — you’re invited to join us for two upcoming Educational Town Hall Meetings in Historic South Atlanta!

These conversations are an opportunity to come together, ask questions, share ideas, and learn more about how we can support every child from cradle to career. When families and communities partner together, we build brighter futures for our kids and create stronger pathways to success.

This year, South Atlanta Youth Group was fortunate to have two incredible interns who poured deeply into this work and into the students they served.

Ajani Claxton-Warner, a graduate of Emory University, was described by one student as “an awesome person and an even better friend.”

Jasmine Flowers, a graduate of Georgia State University, was called “like a big sister” by one of our students for the care and encouragement she showed throughout the year.

Through their work with FCS, both made a lasting impact on the community, and we’re excited for what’s ahead for them!
