The Atlanta APRI in conjunction with the Atlanta North Georgia Labor Council and the Cherokee County NAACP distributed books at the annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. children’s event hosted by the Rev. James Orange Family. Various organizations like BMI, Balfour Beatty, SCLC Women and others were on hand to provide information and resources to parents and students. Hotdogs, sandwiches and snacks were also provided by Rep. Dewey McClain and Edgar E. Fields RWDSU Southeast Council President.
