Candlelight Tour of Homes

Candlelight Tour of Homes The 2024 Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes is our 42nd Tour and will be held Saturday, December 14th and Sunday, December 15th.

2026 Candlelight Tour of Homes

December 12 & 13, 2026

For two nights only, leave the shopping carts and to-do lists behind and step into a celebration of holiday spirit, timeless design, and the magic of home—all while supporting the community you love. For over four decades, Grant Park residents have welcomed visitors from near and far to their historic neighborhood for the much anticipated Grant Park Candlelight Tour of Homes. This unique tour showcases up to 10 homes each year, usually representing a myriad of architectural styles including renovations and new homes built to reflect the historic character of the neighborhood. Stay tuned here for a full schedule of events as the Tour approaches! For more information and to purchase tickets go to http://candlelighttourofhomes.com/

Every home in Grant Park has a story worth sharing. Whether you've restored a historic treasure, completed a thoughtful renovation, created a beautiful garden, or simply built a home filled with warmth and memories, your experience helps tell the larger story of our neighborhood.

The Home Selection Committee welcomes homes of all sizes, styles, and stories. You don't need a perfectly curated showpiece—just a home that reflects the people who live there and a willingness to share what makes it special.

The homes for this year's Tour are already lining up, but we have a few spots left. If you're interested in having your home considered for the 2026 Candlelight Tour, please visit https://candlelighttourofhomes.com/homes/

The folks of Gold Star Sponsor Heide Contracting loved meeting so many neighbors at the Candlelight Tour!

This video shows one of their favorite transformations: a crawl space turned into a bright, fully functional home office. More livable space, preserved charm, and instant equity—all without changing the look of this bungalow.

Crawl space renovation in 3… 2… 1… 🚀
And just like that, another Grant Park home is gaining space it never knew it had.

What starts as a dark, dusty crawl space becomes a fully engineered, beautifully finished basement—adding real square footage under the historic home you already love. No additions. No moving. No losing character.

Just smart, structural transformation that lets you grow in place.

Ready to unlock what’s beneath your feet? 🏡✨
