Our students explored history & culture, tried incredible food (beignets for dinner for the win!), and enjoyed time together.

We launched a pilot one on one tutoring program back in January. This was about more than academics. It was also about building confidence💫

We are proud to report that 89% of our students showed growth in reading!

To celebrate all of their hard work from January through April, we spent time together at Main Event and closed out the semester with lots of laughs and fun. We’re incredibly proud of our students and grateful to everyone who helped make this program possible. 📚

On June 3, the Stewart Center will welcome 70 neighborhood children for six weeks of discovery and growth.

After a long semester of testing and hard work, we want to make sure this summer is full of joy and lasting memories while keeping campers’ minds stimulated and ready for the start of school. That’s why we’ve developed the ACE Curriculum:

♦️ Academic Readiness: Learning that builds confidence and prepares campers for success in school.

♣️Character Development: Building the social and emotional tools campers need to lead.

❤️Educational Discovery: Hands-on STEM and engineering projects that spark curiosity.

As you can see in the graphic below, it doesn’t take a lot to make a huge difference. Whether you choose to fund a summer’s worth of STEM supplies for $35 or a full week’s scholarship for $215, you are ensuring a child in our community has a safe, high-growth place to be.

Over the past four weeks, we created space for movement, reflection, and connection right here in the Pittsburgh neighborhood. Participants of the Pittsburgh Mindfulness Series reported that they left the series feeling more connected to their neighbors, experienced more positive moods, and feeling more emotionally balanced.

We ended our final night with grateful tears, meaningful reflections, and group hugs, a true reflection of the community that was built.

Huge thank you to our incredible facilitators for holding such intentional, supportive spaces, and to Fitsquad and Pittsburgh Yards for hosting us.

What a day out at the 12th Annual Atlanta Golf Classic at East Lake Golf Club! ⛳️
Huge thanks to everyone in our community who showed up, played, connected, and helped make this year’s event such a success. Thanks to everyone’s support, over $125,000 was raised this year. We’re grateful to be surrounded by friends and partners who truly care.
