We are part of NPU-O (bit.ly/439JzFN) along with Kirkwood (Kirkwood Neighbors Association) and Edgewood (Organized Neighbors of Edgewood). The ELNCA meets on the second Monday of each month at 7pm via Zoom to discuss topics relevant to the neighborhood's residents and business owners.

Your opinion and vote on local and citywide issues is important and our monthly meetings provide you the opportunity to participate in discussions and voting including Zoning, Beautification Projects, Fundraising for Charitable Causes, Education, Parks and Recreation, and more. In addition, volunteering on committees in these areas is needed each year by residents like you!

You can make a difference in the quality of life of all East Lake residents. By attending and participating in ELNCA meetings you will meet neighbors and have an opportunity to address neighborhood topics that are important to you. Joining a committee and or volunteering with an ELNCA event is another great way to do that.

The neighborhood of East Lake is located in Atlanta GA. The neighborhood's origin dates back to the days of the Civil War and began flourishing around the late 1890โs as an amusement park on the lake. Once the Atlanta Athletic Club began building the Golf Club and the Trolly Line connected it to the city, the development of East Lake as the easternmost neighborhood of the City of Atlanta took off in earnest. Throughout the 20th century, East Lake experienced significant growth and transformation. One of its most notable features is the East Lake Golf Club, which has been an integral part of the neighborhood for many years. More recently, the East Lake Golf Club has hosted the PGA Tour Championship, bringing national attention to the area. Over time, the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Hosea Williams Drive emerged as the "Neighborhood Village Center". This area has become a lively hub of commercial and residential activity, serving as the heartbeat of East Lake. 2nd & Hosea is home to various restaurants, single-family homes, townhomes, and businesses that cater to the East Lake community and the broader City of Atlanta. It stands as a symbol of community spirit and pride for all those who reside in East Lake.
