Tiny torti in the house! Or rather on the couch! Pretty soon it’ll be tiny torti in a lap! Just one of many examples of the tiniest ones that have been caught/called about. The one in the trap was the last to be caught and pretty soon they will be reunited with their mom who got spayed last week! Please remember to spay and neuter prior to the litters being conceived! Volunteer Heather had to have wrist reconstruction and her boys are hard at work…. Sleeping with her! “Stark” A.K.A. The world’s most expensive bug catcher, “Ven” A.K.A. The protector and “Spider” A.K.A the dog who’s trapped in a cats body were all adopted through local rescues and helped by us along the way for various reasons are clearly questioning why life is so rough and why the other side of the bed was so empty!!!

“Who’s that guy?! Let me at him!!! Get off my woman!!!” At least that’s what we think Bob says! Poor Bob: when Nancy drive onto the farm, she has to turn around at the fork that goes down to her lower barn, so that she can back down to the house. Bob always sees her coming in and runs up there when he sees the van. But when he gets up there, he also sees the bumper on the truck, and his reflection, and then has to attack his reflection because he thinks it’s another rooster! Once backed down he runs and jumps on the van. Oh Bob, Nancy loves you too!!

We were able to get 28 this week: that’s 26 in for surgery and 2 in for medical treatment due to illness/wounds. Of course that doesn’t count the three more kittens that we took that are still too small to be fixed… but, it’s progress, always slowly but surely.

So it’s finally happened: Nancy caught MINI’S CATS! It’s so amazing! And it’s even more amazing because it was completely unexpected, and she did NOT get bit hand-snatching any of them! 🥳 So it’s got her thinking of the black-and-white episodes of the Andy Griffith show, which means let’s guess what the names are going to be, and which mini’s are getting which names…?

In the world of animal rescue if you were to ask a true animal rescue individual how many times they have been recognized they either would not be able to answer or they could not provide you an accurate answer. Though these things seem similar, they’re absolutely quite opposite.
True animal rescue individuals don’t want recognition and therefore they don’t know because they don’t want to know.
In today’s world, we are forced to put ourselves on display for others to judge and decide whether or not what we are doing is impactful to an individual a community or an animal. We ask for you to look aside what is now becoming the norm and see the numbers.
Watch the individual.
Witness the relationships between the adopter and the pet.
A new life.
Because of groups like ours. Ones that don’t want that recognition, but want that impact and think about those things and make your donations appropriately.
It’s not what you see outwardly, but the impact inwardly.

“Whacha looking at Willis?” Anyone? Some of you might be too young to get that reference…young like these kiddos! A couple more kittens out of a th*****me that we have rescued from a trailer park in Hendersonville while getting all of the other cats they are fixed. So far we’re up to 15+ at that location, but does not include all the cute babies that F2F’s absolutely AWESOME volunteer, Kelly, has taken in while been trapping! It takes the whole village!
