🎙️ Word of the Day Alert!
While listening to the radio this morning, I heard a word that made me pause — progenitor.
Have you heard this word before?
Progenitor (noun):
👉 A person or thing from which something originates; an ancestor or originator.
In other words, the starting point… the trailblazer… the one who began it all.
Can you use progenitor in a sentence this week? Maybe:
“She was the progenitor of a new idea.”
“That invention was the progenitor of modern technology.”
Challenge yourself to work it into conversation and see what reactions you get! 😄
