Hot dogs are on the menu this Sunday! 🌭

Puffin loves hot dogs, but shelter life is not for him! His foster family is heading on vacation, which means Puffin is scheduled to return to the shelter this Wednesday (10/14). Let’s find this sweet boy a forever home before then! 🏝️🩵⭐️

October is Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, and while we think shelter dogs deserve the spotlight year-round, we're taking this opportunity to introduce you to a few of our wonderful residents! 🐶

From shelter life to a forever home! 🧡

We recently received an update from Iggy's (formerly known as Sasquatch) family, and it’s safe to say he’s settling right in!

He’s already learned his new name, is coming out of his shell, and is showing more of his personality every day. His family shared, “Every time he acts more like a dog, it makes my heart melt.” And ours too! 🥹

Meet Puffin! 🐾

Shelter life was tough for this sweet boy, so he found comfort with a foster family. Now, his foster family has an upcoming trip and can’t bring Puffin along. We would love to find him a forever home before he has to return to the shelter! 🚨

Puffin has been with his foster family since April, and they’ve helped him become a more confident, loving companion. Here’s what they want you to know about him. ⬇️

Puffin is completely house trained and crate trained and he has excellent mealtime manners. He walks nicely on a leash, loves going for walks, and enjoys car rides and road trips.

Puffin may be hesitant with men at first, but once he trusts you, he becomes a an incredibly affectionate, gentle, and devoted companion.

Puffin can be reactive toward other dogs, so he needs an adopter who understands dog behavior and is committed to helping him continue making progress with management and training.

With patience, structure, and a calm environment, Puffin has shown just how wonderful a companion he can be. Now, he needs someone willing to give him the time and love to build that same special bond. 🐾⭐️🦴

We got to watch the moment River met his new people right before our eyes, and the connection was instant.

Some matches just feel meant to be, and this was definitely one of them. 🥹

We headed over to our neighbors at Merriman Valley Pizza to visit DiCarlo with Little Dough Boy! 💀🍕

Getting Little Dough Boy out of the shelter for a little adventure was so much fun! ❤️

🐾🧡 Juniper found her forever home!

She came to us in need of some extra love and care. This sweet girl arrived very thin after being left outside in the cold and had a long road ahead of her. During her time with us, she received the veterinary care she needed, including completing heartworm treatment.

Now, Juniper’s next chapter has officially begun. She’s found an amazing person ready to give her all the time, patience, love, and care she deserves.

After everything she’s been through, we couldn’t be happier to see this sweet girl finally home! 🥹
