We are looking for Inclusion Technical Officer. The ITO contributes to the implementation of the mandate and the 5-year strategy of Humanity & Inclusion Philippines. He/she ensures optimal technical quality and impact of the projects implemented in the program particularly in Mindanao. He/she shares with all HI managers and the technical team the responsibility of sound technical management and the successful functioning of the global organization.

As we celebrate 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, Humanity & Inclusion emphasizes that communities are most resilient when everyone is included and no one is left behind.

Persons with disabilities, particularly those living in the most at-risk communities, are often among those most affected by emergencies. Existing barriers to accessing essential services, information, and opportunities can deepen exclusion, increase vulnerability, and make recovery more difficult, often pushing families further into poverty.

When communities ensure equal access to opportunities, services, and support, everyone is better equipped to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies.

As we celebrate 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸, Humanity & Inclusion reaffirms that inclusion is not a privilege; it is a fundamental human right. Every person, regardless of ability, has the right to participate fully and equally in society.

In the Philippines, this right is upheld through the 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗮 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗮 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝗥𝗔 𝗡𝗼. 𝟳𝟮𝟳𝟳, which affirms the rights of persons with disabilities to equal opportunities, accessibility, education, employment, healthcare, and participation in community life. Access to humanitarian assistance is about more than meeting basic needs; it restores hope, brings peace of mind, and offers comfort to families facing uncertainty.

Following the 𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝟳.𝟴 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗸𝗲, the 𝗘𝗨 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 & 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗶𝗱-𝗳𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗖𝗖𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 is delivering life-sustaining assistance to the hard-to-reach barangays of Balut Island in Sarangani, Davao Occidental. Providing water and sleeping kits, along with psychosocial support for the most vulnerable households, the project helps restore dignity, reduce uncertainty, and enable families to focus on their well-being and recovery.
