This study will analyze how mercury enters, circulates, and becomes accessible to ASGM operations, providing critical insights to inform policies and enforcement measures aligned with the Minamata Convention on Mercury.

The Artisanal Gold Council Philippines is seeking a motivated ASGM Inventory Field and Data Support Officer to join our team for the Development of a National Action Plan (NAP) for the ASGM Sector in the Philippines (NAP ASGM PH) Project. This 2-year project is funded by Global Environment Facility and implemented by UN Environment Programme and Mines and Geosciences Bureau.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ What Youโ€™ll Do:
โœ”๏ธ Conduct field visits to ASGM sites and support data collection
โœ”๏ธ Encode, organize, and analyze data for the national ASGM inventory
โœ”๏ธ Collaborate with experts to contribute to the ASGM Inventory Report
โœ”๏ธ Support initiatives that improve the livelihoods of small-scale gold miners
