We honor the life and legacy of
Dr. Cornelio G. Banaag Jr.—a pioneer in child and adolescent psychiatry in the Philippines, and a cherished Honorary Board Adviser of the ADHD Society of the Philippines.

Dr. Banaag dedicated his life to understanding children—seeing beyond labels, listening with compassion, and advocating for care that is grounded in both science and humanity. Through his work, he helped shape how ADHD and other developmental conditions are understood and supported in our country.

He was not only a leader in his field, but also a mentor, a teacher, and a steady voice of wisdom to many. His guidance strengthened our mission and reminded us always to center the dignity and potential of every child and family we serve.

His legacy lives on in the professionals he trained, the systems he helped build, and the countless lives he touched.

We carry forward his vision—with gratitude, with purpose, and with hope.
