✨ A New Light in Sitio Bullalayao: Celebrating Community and Clean Energy.

​The sound of the river now carries a new meaning in Sitio Bullalayao, Pantikian, Balbalan, Kalinga. 🌊⚡

​The community gathered today for the heart-warming Inauguration Ceremony of the 6kW Micro-Hydro Power (MHP) System, officially turned over to the Bullalayao Micro-Hydro Organization (BMHO).

This project is a beautiful testament to what can be achieved when a community works hand-in-hand with SIBAT Inc. to harness the power of nature for a better life.

​It was a day filled with gratitude and pride as the community celebrated more than just new machinery. They celebrated the light in their homes, the power to study at night, and the strength of an organization ready to manage its own future.

​With the system now officially in the hands of the BMHO, the village of Bullalayao is stepping into a new chapter of self-reliance and sustainability.

The commitment shown by the local leaders and residents throughout the building process has been truly inspiring, proving that when we protect our environment, it provides for us in return.

​Congratulations to the people of Sitio Bullalayao and the BMHO! May this project continue to bring warmth, light, and progress to the community for generations to come.

From the Books to the Gears: Growing Together in Bullalayao.

True empowerment isn't just about having the tools, it’s about the heart and the hustle it takes to manage them. 🤝

The village of Bullalayao, Pantikian, Balbalan, Kalinga recently held back-to-back training sessions facilitated by SIBAT Inc. to ensure their community-led power project stays strong for years to come.

On April 11, the focus was on the "brain" of the operation. Local leaders dove into Organizational Management and Bookkeeping, mastering the skills needed to keep finances transparent and systems running correctly. It’s all about building a foundation of trust that everyone can rely on.

The energy shifted to the "heart" of the system on April 12 during the Technical Operators Training. It was inspiring to see Bullalayao welcome operators from neighboring villages who also manage their own systems. With guidance from the SIBAT technical team, they got hands-on with technical gears and electrical outputs, sharing tips and sharpening the skills that keep the lights on and the turbines turning.

By taking charge of both the office work and the machinery, these participants are showing that self-reliance is a team sport. From balancing the ledgers to fine-tuning the gears, the people of Balbalan and their partners are proving that when a community works together, the future is always bright.
