Ibinahagi ni Senator Bam Aquino ang nakatakdang pagtatayo ng nasa 600 bagong silid-aralan sa Lungsod ng Maynila, bunsod ng kanyang patuloy na pagsusulong ng mas mataas na pondo para sa edukasyon sa ilalim ng 2026 national budget.

Sa ginanap na flag-raising ceremony ng lungsod nitong Lunes, Mayo 11, ipinaliwanag ni Aquino na layunin nitong matugunan ang siksikan sa mga pampublikong paaralan at i-upgrade ang learning conditions ng mga estudyante.

“Sa mga classroom… nakaplano na po na humigit-kumulang 600 classrooms ang maibibigay sa Lungsod ng Maynila mula sa national budget,” pahayag ni Aquino.

Bukod sa school infrastructure, isinulong din niya ang nutrition support sa pamamagitan ng pag-allocate ng pondo para sa mga school feeding programs. “Pwede pong kunin ng lungsod ang pro-rated budget para sa feeding program upang sila na mismo ang magpatupad nito,” dagdag pa niya.

Lubos namang pinasalamatan ni Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso ang senador sa kanyang walang-sawang suporta sa mga kabataan, kabilang na ang mga iskolar ng Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.

Ang 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗟𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗿𝗮: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗻 ay isang province-wide na programa na naglalayong hubugin ang kabataan ng Aurora bilang mga lider na may integridad, kakayahan, at may puso sa komunidad. Layunin nitong magbigay ng espasyo upang mapalakas ang kanilang kakayahan sa pamumuno, kamalayang sibiko, at aktibong pakikilahok at kolaborasyon sa Sangguniang Panlalawigan sa paghubog ng kanilang mga komunidad—lalo na sa nalalapit na 2026 SK at Barangay Elections.

Sa pakikipagtulungan sa Office of the Vice Governor ng Aurora, binibigyang-diin ng programa ang partisipasyon ng kabataan sa pamamahala at inihahanda ang mga kabataang lider na makipagtulungan nang epektibo sa lokal at panlalawigang pamahalaan, habang pinapalakas ang kanilang kakayahan sa adbokasiya, servant leadership, at pananagutan sa serbisyo publiko.
