Saturday 10th Wheel demonstration 10-11am with Danielle Castle
Saturday 10th Hand Building demonstration 12-1pm with Bekah Upston

Sunday 11th Wheel demonstration 10-11am with Larissa Milsum
Sunday 11th Hand Building demonstration 12-1pm with Julie Connolly

And the Gisborne Gisborne Camera Club have demonstrations in Lysnar house throughout the weekend.

The Gisborne Camera Club has "Gold" themed prints for show and sale at this exhibition of artists, photographers and potters - on this weekend at Lysnar House.
We will also have a demo for you to participate in.

This Saturday’s weather looks perfect for a visit to Tairāwhiti Museum ⛈️ ☔️

Our annual exhibition of Artists, Potters and Photographers will be on until mid-November.

Two of our Emerging Ceramicists are Serena Scrivens and Tim Ronke.

Serena produces delicate, detailed works with a whimsical aesthetic, earning her our Potter of the Month award for July.

Tim was encouraged by his wife Cate (also exhibiting), to come along to one of our club nights and has only been a member for a short while, quickly finding his groove as a hand builder.

"Blessed are the cracked for they let in the Light".

When you visit our exhibition at Tairāwhiti Museum, you'll see Gisborne Pottery Group's tribute to our friend, Lynell Wakelin who we lost earlier this year.

Lynell, fellow potter and all-round top bloke – she was a talented and much-loved member of our pottery community and committee. She brought genuine warmth, kindness, quick wit, and laughter to our group, along with a truly lovely presence.

She meant a great deal to so many of us.
