The combined Zonta Christchurch Clubs are putting on their 7th Charity Run/Walk... Zonta Yellow Rose Run
www.zontarun.org.nz April 19th in Hagley Park Christchurch.
And the money raised goes to us at Foster Hope, we'd love you to register and come along and support us. If you can't make it the Donation button goes to us too! 💛🌼🫶

I've just had confirmation that our lovely volunteer and hairdresser extraordinaire is heading back to Ōtautahi-Chch this week!
This means the countdown is on for any last minute donations for our hair chop fundraiser.

So far I'm only cutting off 30 cms. I'd love it to be more! May you, your work place or service club can help me out!

We are so grateful to have received a collection of hand-knit Izzy dolls from one of our incredible supporters, Judith and Zonta Club of Auckland! These little dolls are truly special. Not just because they’re lovingly crafted, but because of the story and heart behind them.

What are Izzy dolls?
Izzy dolls were inspired by Master Corporal Mark “Izzy” Isfeld, a Canadian peacekeeper who served in conflict zones in the early 1990s. While deployed, Mark noticed so many children who had lost everything, especially their toys. He asked his mum, Carol, to knit small dolls he could carry in his pocket to give to the children he met, as a symbol of comfort and care. What began as a simple act of kindness has blossomed into a global initiative of volunteers knitting and crocheting these dolls to bring hope and a hug-like comfort to children facing hardship around the world.

Each Izzy doll tells a story of compassion, warmth, and connection. We'll include these in the backpacks we’re preparing for our next big pack day.

Thank you again for sharing these beautiful dolls with us. They will bring so much love, comfort and joy to those who really need it most.

We realised we were struggling to source books suitable for our babies, we asked ourselves, so what do we do? We worked our magic, of course, and created our own 😁

These beautiful baby books have been made with care to support early connection, comfort, and those precious moments shared between babies and their caregivers. They will be used in our backpacks and gifted to little ones coming into care.

To bring this idea to life, we partnered with Monty's Promotional Products and Corporate Apparel to print 3,000 of these beautiful baby books.

They are a promotional product company we trust and choose to work with. Their quality, care, and attention to detail helped ensure these books were produced to a beautiful standard.
