Asha Bhosle Remembered

Legendary playback singer Asha Bhosle is fondly remembered as Indians throughout the world join in recording appreciations for her vast contributions. Asha Bhosle died recently and was accorded a State Funeral in Mumbai.

The Fiji Association has very special memories of Asha Bhosle during her 1990 NZ visit and performances with Te Waka Huia Maori, as well as receptions shared with the Association. Asha Bhosle continued her contact with us, and her passing is deeply mourned.

A special tribute by Dr Satendra Singh has been published in NZ. https://indiannewslink.co.nz/asha-bhosle-and-the-infinite-rhythm-of-an-era

May she rest in peace.🙏
