That’s a wrap for Golden Gloves 2026. What an awesome long weekend with the best team a coach could ask for. Great time to bond and create memories that will last a lifetime. 9 athletes, 15 bouts, 11 Wins 4 Learns. 5 🥇GG champions & 2🥈. Well done team.

Day 1 Golden Gloves Completed. We had 6 on with 6 hard fought bouts with great opponents. 5 wins, 1 learn.
Day 2 we have a big day with 7 on.

Our competitive team and there families for all your work from set up to pack down, and of-course our young athletes that gave it there all. Feel so blessed to have you all.

𝗦𝗨𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗣𝗥𝗜𝗟 𝟭𝟬𝗔𝗠-𝟭𝟮𝗣𝗠 : 𝗖𝗔𝗗𝗘𝗧𝗦 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗢𝗨𝗧

North Boxing Academy is hosting Cadets Day Out at the ABA for all Auckland Amateur Boxing Assoc - ABA affiliated gyms.

The day is for our youth aged 9-13 with 0-3 fights aimed to show those interested in our sport what we do and what we are about.

We welcome all levels of beginner.

There will be some competitive sparring for those who havent sparred outside the gym and may be looking to fight in the near future.

There will be some introduction level sparring for those who are just getting in to it, and some body sparring or shoulders and knees for burpees for those who arent quite ready to don the mouthguard and headgear just yet.

What to bring:

Mouthguard
Headgear
12oz Gloves
Water
Towel

We will put on some sandwiches and fruit for after sparring

Bring em all, start the next generation strong. 🥊🥊
