Researchers know that applying for funding can be extremely difficult 😬

But Cancer Research Trust NZ has simplified the process with an online portal 👍

Once a researcher submits their application, it will be peer-reviewed and carefully assessed by our team of clinicians and scientists, both here and internationally.

And if their application isn’t successful, they won’t be left wondering why. We provide clear, constructive feedback outlining what could be strengthened before they apply again.

We’d love to support every project, but funding is limited. Our rigorous assessment process helps us direct grants towards research with the strongest potential to succeed and make a meaningful difference to cancer patients in New Zealand.

Our trusted, reliable, and proven process also attracts other charities to us who wish to partner to fund research, including Breast Cancer Cure, Melanoma New Zealand, Ovarian Cancer Foundation NZ, and most recently, Bowel Cancer New Zealand. This allows us to maximise our impact across the sector.
