Hey! I'm Giulia from Canada! 🍁🇨🇦 . Are you an arty or musical or science-y whānau?

I'm outgoing, creative and love music and art. I play piano and bass clarinet, enjoy singing and participating in band. I spend my free time painting, drawing, sewing, reading and doing crafts. I'm also hardworking and independent, with a strong interest in maths and science as well!

I'll be looking for a Kiwi home from January - December 2027! Could it be yours? 🏠🏡

Hello, I'm Raku! I'm from Japan, am 16 and am cheerful, friendly and independent.

I love sports and outdoor activities, particularly surfing, swimming, snowboarding and camping. I also love listening to music, reading manga and watching movies. I enjoy making friends and have previous international experience from a one-month study programme in Australia.

I simply can't wait to spend time in New Zealand, improving my English, exploring the outdoors and sharing Japanese culture and food.

If you want to host me from Jan 2027 for 11 months, please enquire!

🚨Costa Rica and Brazil Community Service Programmes! People 18 years and older can experience a new country and language, live with a volunteer host family, and engage in meaningful activities with a local not-for-profit organisation. All with the structured support of the AFS network!

🇨🇷 Costa Rica (Ages 18–24): A 3-month programme featuring an immersive 60-hour Spanish language course.

🇧🇷 Brazil (Ages 18–60): A 4-week community service experience 💚.

What better way to truly experience being part of another community? And the best news is, it's perfect for those who missed out on the chance to do an AFS exchange in high school or want an AFS experience all over again!

Share with a friend who you think would love this and DM us for details.

Happy International Day of Peace ☮🕊✌! "Invest in Peace - For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day" is this year's message. We are still so proud of our humble beginnings as volunteer ambulance drivers in the World Wars. By investing in intercultural experiences across borders, we believe we are investing in peace. Thank you to all who support us and participate ❤.
