Kia ora! I'm Vincent from Switzerland ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ญ and can't wait to spend time in Aotearoa's nature. I'm an active, adventurous Scout member. I also love snowboarding, maths and physics, sometimes competing in national academic tournaments.

I'll be 16 years and 10 months when I arrive in New Zealand in January. I can't wait to spend time with my host family through shared meals, game nights, and outings!

Hey there, I'm Trilby! I'm from the U.S.A and I'll be looking for a Kiwi home in January for 5 months.

I'm active and creative - I love playing guitar, surfing and snowboarding. I'm also an animal lover! I enjoy caring for my chicken, cat and dog. Although I may seem a little quiet when first meeting someone, I'll quickly become comfortable and value building connections with others. I can't wait to build these connections with a Kiwi host family.

Fun facts:
-The country is home to over 700 languages and dialects across thousands of communities. Bahasa Indonesia is the official language
-Indonesia consists of over 17,000 islands, with around 6,000 inhabited
-It's the only place on Earth where you can find Komodo dragons in the wild
-The Rafflesia arnoldii, native to Sumatra rainforests , is the largest lower on Earth, which is sometimes known as the "co**se flower" because it gives off a pungent smell of rotting meat to attract pollinating flies!
-Lake Toba in Sumatra is the largest volcanic lake in the world.
