Short notice call for shantying today if anyone is keen to warm up their voices with some Rounds then share in some rollicking tunes.

The Man Whose Mother was a Pirate musical plans to get a few together for 15-20min of shantying next to Shipwreck Trading at the lagoon/waterfront. Shipwreck supported the show, helping with their swashbuckling aesthetic 🦜☠️⚓⛵

Rounds in the Square as per usual at 1pm. We'll warm our voices with rounds some may be familiar with and then we'll be taught a round from the show.

We'll sing a couple of shanty standards and also 'Full time Pirate' from the show - Nino on verses.
We'll see what we sing depending on the big loud voices you lot bring 😉

Rough plan:
1pm - Rounds in the Square @ Te Ngākau Civic Square
1:30-1:45 - Walk across the bridge to the lagoon and sing a few shanties on waterfront
