10.15 - 10.30: 10K participants arrive
10.30 - 10.45: 10K warm-up

11.00 - 11.15: 5K participants arrive
11.15 - 11.30: 5K warm-up
11.30 - 11.35: 5K race begins

11.45 - 12.00: 2.5K participants arrive
12.00 - 12.15: 2.5K warm-up
12.15 - 12.20: 2.5K race begins

The weather forecast is looking sunny for Sunday's race day 🌤

Thursday 3rd September - 8.30am - 5.30pm

We highly recommend that collecting your race pack ahead of the event.

The JCCT team will be at RBC reception today and tomorrow from 4pm - 5.30pm selling our Annual Raffle tickets if you are feeling lucky whilst collecting your race packs!

We are pleased to share that the Government of Jersey have announced that families using Accredited Nannies will be able to access financial support through
Jersey's Childcare Funding Scheme for 2 to 3-year-olds from 1 September 2026.

The decision recognises Accredited Nannies as a trusted and professional childcare option that meets recognised standards for qualifications, safeguarding, and professional practice. It follows requests from families for greater flexibility in how childcare funding can be used.

The 2- to 3-year-olds Childcare Funding Scheme now includes Accredited Nannies providing greater flexibility and choice for families across the Island.

Look out for the updated application form in October - all families using Accredited Nannies will be able to backdate their applications to 1 September 2026.

🌧 Is today's weather giving anyone déjà vu?

It's certainly reminding us of last year's RBC Race for the Kids Jersey, where hundreds of incredible islanders braved the torrential rain and still showed up with determination and community spirit!

This year, we are hoping for sunshine, but whatever the weather, the day will once again bring the community together and enable children in Jersey to have the best start in life.

For just £15 to register, you will be helping support our work, including removing barriers to accessing childhood education and care for families facing financial challenge.

And the best bit? Kids under 16 go FREE!

Whether you run, jog, walk, wheel or scoot through the 2.5k, 5k or 10k course, your participation and fundraising will have a lasting impact on local children and families. Last year, the event raised an incredible £56,000. Imagine what we could achieve this year!

Thank you to Integritas Wealth Partners for their support of Jersey Child Care Trust.

The funding from their Integritas Charitable Trust, will help fund holiday and activity clubs for children experiencing childhood poverty, giving them opportunities to play, learn, build friendships and make lasting memories during the school holidays.

This week, Philippa presented Fiona Vacher from Jersey Child Care Trust with an Integritas Charitable Trust plaque to commemorate our grant funding safe, supervised holiday and activity clubs for children facing childhood poverty.
