Naoise Dunbar and Rachel O’Byrne in our final week of rehearsals for POISON by Lot Vekemans, directed by Lianne O'Shea .

An intimate, powerful two-hander about grief, memory, love, and everything left unsaid. In the room, we’ve been exploring the silences as much as the words ... the fragile space between two people reconnecting after years apart.

POISON opens on Thursday 28th May at the Mick Lally Theatre in Galway, before traveling to Project Arts Centre in Dublin on Wednesday 3rd June.

FOR THE RECORD

This summer sees the world premiere of For the Record, a bold new live performance from Colin Dunne , created in collaboration with Becky Ní Éallaithe (concertina/vocals) and Ultan O’Brien (fiddle/viola).

Blending voice, electronics, spoken word, live music, and dance, the work unfolds as a dynamic and shape-shifting encounter where roles constantly blur and no two performances are ever the same.

Rooted in tradition while pushing beyond its boundaries, For the Record creates a richly layered live experience that is both intimate and unpredictable, bringing together three exceptional performers in a shared act of listening, improvisation, and exchange.

The production will premiere this summer at:

7 July — glór, Ennis
9 July — Dance Limerick
12 & 13 August — Kilkenny Arts Festival

For the Record is produced by Once Off Productions , commissioned by Luail – Ireland’s National Dance Company , and co-produced by Luail, glór , and Dance Limerick

Brian Friel’s version of Uncle Vanya is clear, urgent, and heartbreakingly funny. Staged for the first time in Dublin in nearly 30 years, it asks us: is happiness ever worth the risk, and what price must we pay for wanting more? Directed by Cathal Cleary with Risteárd Cooper as Vanya.
