Turkish Irish Educational and Cultural Society (TIECS) is a non-profit, non-political, educational and cultural organization that was founded in 2004 by a group of volunteers comprising of business people, academicians and students. One of our goals is to reach out to people of different cultures, beliefs and professions through various cultural, social and educational activities to support and ad

vance the harmony and cooperation among them. We aim to promote understanding of Irish and Turkish cultures, and to foster integrity through cultural and educational activities. Getting to know each other will build bridges among our groups. In order to be able to build this peaceful life keeping the diversity of our community, TIECS works hand in hand with Irish and other communities and groups that recognize the same mission and uphold the same values.
