Last Saturday, Ruhama team members completed the Glenbarrow Hike in the Slieve Bloom mountains, all to raise money for our service users!

With the hike now complete, we are giving one last push to raise funds for Christmas Vouchers for our service users 💜 Yes, we have reached our goal of €2,000 but the more we raise, the more of our service users we can support. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.

The narrative surrounding the s*x trade may make it seem like a choice on the part of those engaged with it, who can earn money while staying in control of their safety and clients.

The reality is that it is a system held up by exploitation. The majority of those engaged in the s*x trade are there as a result of coercion, poverty, addiction or having been trafficked for the purpose of s*xual exploitation.

You can be a Game Changer, by stepping up and speaking out. Not participating in harmful “locker room talk” is not enough. You need to call out poor behaviour when you see it. 2025 showed record numbers reaching out to the DRCC helpline last year. The DRCC provides a vital service to so many survivors.

A reminder that the Ruhama team are hiking the Glenbarrow Loop, an 11km route through the Slieve Bloom mountains, Co. Laois to raise money for our service users.

We know that Christmas can be a very challenging time of year. We want to lighten the load a bit and bring some holiday cheer by offering as many service users as possible a €50 food and clothes voucher. Our target is €2,000. It would be amazing if we could give a little lift to 40 service users this Christmas. But of course, the more we raise the more vouchers we can buy.
