🎉 What a fantastic morning celebrating 800 years of the Laxfield Community Market 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to enjoy the wonderful atmosphere, support local traders, catch up with friends and neighbours and be part of this very special milestone in Laxfield’s history.

From delicious local produce and handmade crafts to community spirit in abundance, the market was buzzing with activity and a fitting celebration of 800 years since Laxfield was granted its Market Charter in 1226.

Thank you to all our stallholders, volunteers, organisers, and visitors who helped make the morning such a success. Here’s to preserving and celebrating the traditions that make our village so special.

NOW BOOKING! Our next visiting play is called Never-2-Late.Com from the wonderful local troupe Charmed Life. So what's it about?

Ruby is on the verge of her 80th birthday. Frank is 58. They met on never-2-late.com, an internet dating site for senior singles. They quickly became lovers. Only Becca, Ruby’s granddaughter knows of their romance – until now. Three weeks before Ruby and Frank are to be married, Ruby finally breaks the news to her two adult children. The revelation unleashes an outbreak of family panic. This, they decide, must be the result of an abusive internet predator, the early stages of dementia – or even a psychotic episode. It can’t possibly be true love... or can it?

Truly a play for our times. Coming along?
