500 Suffolk Reasons Hoping to find 500 kind souls to each pledge £1 pw to generate £500 of kindness pw for a Suffolk household in need. Joining is simple.

Easy peasy, minimal red tape for you and us and lots of help for people who need it! You will then be invited to a private group where we will detail how the money is being spent. An email round robin will go to non FB users so still encourage your non FB friends to join us. And yes I know £1 per week seems fiddly but we need to see it come in and go out and thats the simplest way for
us

3. We will keep you updated of our progress.
4. When we are ready we will ask you to let us know if you would like to nominate someone who might benefit from a donation. Nominations can only be made by contributors

With the sad news that Bill Oddie has passed away, on Suffolk Sound this Tuesday I want to hear your memories of him. Did you ever meet him when he was filming at RSPB Minsmere? Will he always just be a Goodie? Was his enthusiasm for birds and nature infectious?

I’m also delighted that Ann Osborne and Henry Tapp from 500 Suffolk Reasons are joining me in the first half of the show to talk about this valuable local charity with a very unique offer.

We’re getting there…. slowly! It’s taken 5 years to get to 430 members! I am certain there are more than 430 people in Suffolk that would be willing to part with £1 to help their fellow man! I’m just not sure how we reach them!

We have truly made a difference with around 200 donations in that time, but with more members, we could do so much more!

It’s so easy to sign up and it’s such a rewarding way to spend that £1 each week.

Good morning everyone! Will this gloomy weather ever end?
Whilst this endless rain and the grey skies can affect everyone, it’s particularly hard to bear if you are struggling to make ends meet. We are receiving more nominations than ever before and we desperately need more members!
£500 can be a game changer in the situations we are presented with and it’s a privilege to be able to help. But we need to grow!
It’s just £1 a week to become a member. What can you buy with £1? It isn’t even a coffee , but those £1s added together have the power to make a difference and to make someone struggling, feel seen, heard and valued!
It’s so easy to join, just a direct debit to land with us each Monday.
Random Acts of Kindness have a ‘day’ each year but it shouldn’t just be a day, it should be a way of life!! £1 every Monday is a weekly RAK and truly makes such a difference!

Super busy with nominations recently. Thankfully we have been able to say yes to every one so far. But they are coming faster and we need more members paying £1 a week so we can continue to meet the requests.
Every nomination is deserving, some are utterly heartbreaking!
If you have been thinking of signing up, please just do it. We need you! Helping others in this way is so rewarding and it’s only £1 a week!
