September means back-to-school for many Fram families!

New classrooms, new routines, familiar faces and plenty of excitement (and maybe a few nerves too).

Whether it’s a first day, a new school or simply the start of another year of learning, it’s a big milestone for families in our local community.

A lot can change with a little care, time and teamwork.

Our Growing Space has transformed over the seasons thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, the support of our community and a little help from Mother Nature along the way. Although we wouldn’t say no to a little rain! 🌧️

🎨 What a lovely morning of creativity at FramFridge! 💚

🎨 Our recent Craft Day brought children together for a morning of making, creating and having fun.

There were plenty of busy hands, colourful creations and, of course, lots of smiles along the way! ✂️🌈

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and to the volunteers who helped make the morning possible.

It’s days like this that remind us that community is about creating spaces where people can come together, have fun and feel part of something. 💚

🥒 Got a courgette that’s turned into a marrow? Or more courgettes than you know what to do with?

You’re not alone! 🌱

Here are some ways to make the most of a bumper courgette harvest:

🥒 Grate and freeze for future bakes, fritters and sauces
🍝 Turn into courgetti or add to pasta dishes
🍞 Bake into a delicious courgette loaf
🥣 Blend into soups
🫙 Pickle slices for a tasty side
🤝 Share your surplus with friends, neighbours or your community
