Corn Exchange Community Update

Thank you to everyone who attended our Public Meeting on 11th June. We were delighted to welcome more than 60 members of the community to hear about our vision for bringing the Corn Exchange back into community use.

If you were unable to attend the meeting, the presentation is now available to view on our website, where you will also find our Community Consultation Feedback Form. Paper copies of both the presentation and consultation form are available to collect from HIP.

We would encourage everyone in our community to take part in the consultation. Your ideas and feedback will help us shape a community-led business plan that reflects the needs and aspirations of Harleston.

This week marks Volunteers' Week, and we want to take a moment to recognise and thank our incredible volunteers.

We are fortunate to have 58 dedicated volunteers who collectively give more than 4,800 hours of their time each year. This equates to an in-kind contribution of approximately £59,000 to our charity – a truly remarkable gift.

Whether welcoming visitors, supporting activities, sharing skills, or helping to alleviate loneliness and social isolation, our volunteers make an enormous difference. Their time, commitment and generosity enable us to continue supporting our community and delivering the services we do.

To each and every one of our volunteers – thank you. Without you, we simply couldn't do what we do.
