Waveney Valley Hogspital

The Waveney Valley Hogspital is a voluntary hedgehog sanctuary - we care for sick, injured or orphaned hedgehogs, underweight or whatever their need. Every year thousands of hedgehogs across the country are killed on roads, injured in gardens, are trapped in rubbish or poisoned with chemicals and pesticides. As well as the pain and suffering, or the loss of these lovely creatures, it often leaves

young babies in need of care. There are lots of hedgehogs to be saved, so at Waveney Valley Hogspital, we will always either take in hedgehogs in need or we will find another suitable hedgehog carer closer to where they have been found. We are a small Rescue which is home-run and self-funded. I can not take calls 24/7 as I work full-time, late night and early mornings please call 01584 890801 this is the BHPS 24hr phone number - they will be able to give you contact details of Hedgehog Carers locally to you. If the hedgehog is bleeding, collapsed or injured please contact a local vet for further assistance. Currently there is not an "A&E department" at Waveney Valley Hogspital.
