🍾 Calling All Bottle Hoarders! 🍷🍺🥂

Do you have a bottle of wine that’s been “saved for a special occasion”… for the last five years? A bottle of gin that’s never been opened? Or a fancy fizz that’s gathering dust?

We’re collecting bottle donations for our Charity Bottle Tombola, and we’d love to take those unopened bottles off your hands!

Whether it’s wine, spirits, prosecco, beer, soft drinks, or anything else that’s sealed and suitable for a prize, every donation helps us raise vital funds for our charity.

So, have a rummage in the cupboard and help turn your spare bottle into smiles (and hopefully a winning prize for someone!).

Please drop donations off at Blackthorn Community Centre by August 28th or send us a message if you’d like to arrange collection.

We're pleased to announce that our next Volunteer Preparation Course will run this September & October. If you've been thinking about volunteering and would like to support families with young children, we'd love to hear from you!

Dates, times, and location tbc but we will work around as many people as possible. Hopefully this allows more of you to find time to join us and learn all about becoming a home-visiting volunteer!

Behind every family we support is a team of incredible people who give their time, care and compassion to make a difference. 💛

Our volunteers are at the heart of what we do. They show up for children and families when they need support, offering a helping hand, a listening ear and the reassurance that they don’t have to face difficult times alone.

And while our volunteers give so much, we’re there for them too — providing the training, guidance and ongoing support they need to feel confident and valued in their roles.

This video is a glimpse into what our charity is all about: people supporting people, building stronger families and creating positive change that can last.
