Edward Dowdall, CEO and Co-Founder of Padel Social House, will tell anyone who listens that padel is the fastest-growing sport in the country.

Paul Bone of Kingsley Roofing & Solar backs everything from the Cobblers to grassroots charities.

Both have stepped up to make the GIVE Northants Charity Padel Cup 2026 happen.

🎾 12 days to go until the GIVE Northants Charity Padel Cup!

On Thursday 8 October we're holding our first Charity Padel Cup at Padel Social House, Brackmills, Northampton, and we'd love to see your business on court.

I've been reading the letters from charities we've supported this year, and they're the best reason I can give you to enter:

💪 Step Forward With Lewis CIC free strength and balance classes for people recovering from cancer, which would otherwise have had to stop or start charging

🧠 KidsAid group therapy, which helped young people struggling with drink and drugs feel less alone and more hopeful

🛋️ Spencer Contact getting furniture and household essentials to families with nothing

⛵ Crusader Community Boating training 15 new volunteer crew

🥕 The Spring Charity helping families learn to cook healthy meals

That's what your entry fee pays for. We're all volunteers, so every penny raised goes to local charities.

On Thursday 8 October, we’re bringing local businesses and friends together for the Give Northants Charity Padel Tournament at Padel Social House, Northampton.

A huge thank you to Edward Dowdall and the team at Padel Social House, who are generously giving us use of the venue free of charge. Their support will help us make an even greater difference to charities and community organisations across Northamptonshire.

It promises to be a brilliant afternoon of padel, lunch, music and networking — all while supporting a fantastic local cause.

You can enter:

🎾 Individually for £42.50 — so don’t worry if you haven’t got a partner
🎾 As a company — businesses can enter as many teams as they like

Lovely to catch up with Mark Flaxman from Sport4Fitness CIC today who joined our Chair, Samas Sayer on N Live Radio Studios Northampton, to talk about how the grant we provided from Give Northants supported their cookery programme. Chuffed to see the aprons they had embroidered with our logo on too!

Crusader Community Boating offers boat trips that allow everyone, regardless of age, physical or mental ability, to enjoy the beauty and fun of Northamptonshire's waterways, aboard their pupose-built, fully accessible wide-beam boats.

For many of our passengers, these specially equipped boats provide an opportunity to enjoy leisure and social experiences alongside their carers, experiences they might not otherwise be able to access. We hope that, in some small way, this contributes to their social well-being, helping to counter the feelings of isolation that many can experience.
