🚀🍦 Lolly Sale Tomorrow! 🍦🚀

Friends of MAPS will be selling Ice Lollies after school tomorrow in the playground!

💙 Only 50p each 💙

We accept cash and card, but if you’re paying with cash, we’d really appreciate exact change where possible. It helps us serve everyone much more quickly (and stops the lollies melting while you’re waiting! ☀️🍦).

Also tomorrow is the last day to buy your disco ticket for next week!!!!

Dear Parents and Carers,

Friends of MAPS are delighted to be hosting our Summer Disco on the school playground! ☀️😎🪩

🪩Years 3, 4 & 5🪩

Tuesday 14th July
3:20pm – 4:30pm
Tickets: £2.00 (includes an ice lolly)

A tuck shop will also be available, so please send your child with a small amount of change if they would like to buy an extra treat.

🪩Reception, Year 1 & Year 2🪩

Thursday 16th July
3:20pm – 4:30pm
Tickets: £3.50 (includes an ice lolly, snack and drink)

As the disco will be held outside on the playground, we have unlimited tickets available, so there’s no need to worry about missing out!

Tickets are on sale before and after school every day this week outside Reception.

We will aim to be there each day, before & after school, but this is subject to availability of more than 2 PTA members being available to help.

We can’t wait to celebrate the end of the school year with lots of music, dancing and summer fun. We hope to see lots of children there!

Due to changes to school hours over the last two days and also the hot weather conditions, and issues with our card readers, we have decided to postpone the Rainbow Raffle draw until the school fête next Friday.

The good news is that this gives everyone an extra week to buy tickets, so there is still all of next week to enter. Good luck! 🌈🎟️

Summer Fete Volunteers Needed!

Our Summer Fete is taking place after school on Friday 3rd July, and we are looking for volunteers to help make it a fantastic event for our children and school community.

We are looking for helpers for the following time slots:

* Set up: 2:00pm – 3:20pm
* Run a stall (1st half): 3:20pm – 4:30pm
* Run a stall (2nd half): 4:30pm – 5:30pm
* Clear away: 5:30pm – 6:00pm

The more volunteers we have, the more games and activities we can provide for the children, making the event even more enjoyable while raising valuable funds for our school community. Children are welcome to help run stalls alongside their parents too!

🎟️ Summer Fete Raffle Prize Appeal 🎟️

We’re reaching out for your help!
Despite our best efforts, we are currently very short of raffle prizes for this year’s Summer Fete.

Last year, thanks to the generosity of local businesses and families, we were able to offer some fantastic prizes, including vouchers, beauty treatments, and other experiences. These bigger prizes helped us sell more raffle tickets, which in turn raised more money for our school.

If you own a business, work for a company that supports local charities, or know someone who might be willing to donate a prize, voucher, gift, or experience, we would be incredibly grateful for any support.

Even if you’re unable to help directly, please could you spread the word among friends, family, and local businesses who may be able to contribute?

Friends of MAPS is a registered charity, which can sometimes help when approaching larger companies for donations.

Every prize, big or small, makes a difference and helps us raise valuable funds for the children at our school.
