🚂 A HUGE THANK YOU TO HOLLOWELL STEAM RALLY! 🚂💚

We’re delighted to have received a donation from Hollowell Steam Rally in recognition of the fantastic hard work put in by our Explorer Scouts! 🙌

Our Explorers have been busy supporting the rally in lots of different ways, from litter picking and helping on the gates to assisting with the auction and much more. 💪🧹🎟️

It’s brilliant to see their efforts recognised, and we’re incredibly grateful for the generous donation. It will help us provide even more exciting opportunities, activities and adventures for our Explorers! 🏕️🌍

A massive well done to all our Explorers for showing what Scouting is all about — teamwork, community spirit and giving something back. The money will go towards providing an opportunity fund to give young people access to events they wouldn't normally have access too.💚⚜️

Thank you, Hollowell Steam Rally! 👏

🎭 SCOUTS ON STAGE (SOS) – EXPLORER UNIT 🎭

We’re excited to announce that Scouts on Stage (SOS) starts on Thursday 17 September at Fernie Fields, from 8:00–9:30pm! 🌟

Our aim is simple: to create and put on a show entirely shaped by our Explorers. 🎬

The exciting part? We don’t know what the show will look or sound like yet! 😄 That’s where you come in.

You don’t need to be able to sing, dance or play an instrument. All you need is a willingness to get creative, try new things and be part of a team.

There will be opportunities to get involved in:
🎤 Performance
🎭 Acting & drama
🎶 Music & sound
🎨 Costume design
🛠️ Set & prop design
💡 And plenty of other creative roles!

There’s also the opportunity to learn new skills that could contribute towards your Duke of Edinburgh’s Award. 🏅

So, whether you want to be centre stage or prefer working behind the scenes, there’s a place for everyone at SOS.

Come along, get creative and let’s see what we can create together! 🚀

It's our birthday, Scouts! 🎉 🥳 ✨

119 years since the very first experimental Scout camp pitched up on Brownsea Island, Dorset.

We’re so proud of everything our volunteers have done since then to give young people a place to belong. Thank you to you all! 🙌
