Gallones Ice Cream Delivers Sweet Support to the Hope Centre for the Homeless Community
Northampton, UK — 24th June 2026 — Gallones Ice Cream is proud to announce a heartfelt initiative to support the local homeless community by donating ice cream to those in need. This generous effort reflects the company’s commitment to not only serving delicious treats but also making a meaningful difference within the community it calls home.
At a time when acts of kindness matter more than ever, Gallones Ice Cream has stepped forward to provide moments of comfort and joy to individuals experiencing homelessness. Through this initiative, the company is distributing free ice cream, helping to brighten days and show solidarity with some of the most vulnerable members of society.
“We believe that even a small gesture can have a powerful impact,” said Lee Dimmer, Owner of Gallones Ice Cream. “Ice cream is often associated with happiness and togetherness, and we wanted to share that feeling with people who may be going through difficult times.”
The initiative has been warmly received by Jo Pritchard CEO of the Hope Centre, who commend Gallones Ice Cream for their thoughtful contribution and compassionate approach.
This effort highlights the importance of businesses giving back and working together to support those in need. By choosing to donate their products, Gallones Ice Cream is not only offering a refreshing treat but also sending a strong message of care, dignity, and inclusion.
We would like to extend a sincere thank you to Gallones Ice Cream for their kindness, generosity, and dedication to making a positive impact. Their actions serve as an inspiring example of how local businesses can play a vital role in strengthening communities.

We’re putting out a call for donations of sun cream to help protect people experiencing homelessness during the warmer weather.

Many of the people we support spend long periods outdoors and are at high risk of sunburn and dehydration. If you’re able to donate any new or unopened bottles of SPF 30+ sun cream, it would make a real difference.

Donations can be dropped off at The Hope Centre on Ash Street NN1 3HW. Please share this post to help us reach more people. ☀️💛

💛 This Valentine’s Day, Share the Love in a Different Way 💛

Instead of buying flowers this year, we’re inviting you to do something truly special…
💐 Swap a bouquet for a hot meal for someone experiencing homelessness.

For the price of a bunch of roses, you can help us provide warmth, dignity, and a full stomach to someone who desperately needs it. At the Northampton Hope Centre, we see every day how much a simple meal can mean — not just food, but kindness, comfort, and hope.

If you’re able, please consider spreading love where it’s needed most. Your Valentine’s gift could change someone’s day… or even their life.

💛 Donate a meal. Share the love. Make a real difference.

Thank you, from all of us at the Hope Centre. Together, we can make this Valentine’s Day about compassion and community.
