BacZac his Legacy

BacZac His Legacy is a charity that has been created by the family and friends of Zac Forskitt.

Zac was a 20yr old young man who was loving life when a visit to the doctors in 2015 for a rattle in his chest changed his and our lives forever. In September 2015 after being admitted to hospital with what they thought was pneumonia he was later told he had Cancer and a few days later Leukaemia,
He fought for 6 months to beat this awful diagnosis but unfortunately lost his battle in March 2016,

six months after his diagnosis. His mum Helen, dad Jason,sister Beth, Lee and girlfriend Lucy wish to keep his memory alive and help others like him as they know this is what he would of wanted. All donations are to help other young people who are going through intense treatment after receiving a Cancer diagnosis. The long term aim of the charity is to have a respite home for young people and their families to use, to have a break from hospital life or to make memories �

We’re thrilled to announce our 9th Annual Golf Day, taking place on Friday, 12th June 2026, at Overstone Park Golf Club. This fantastic event is a highlight of our year, bringing together golfers for a day of fun, competition, and fundraising to support young adults affected by cancer.

What’s planned for the day:

🥓 Bacon roll & coffee
🏌️‍♂️ 9-hole Texas Scramble in the morning
🍽️ Lunch break
⛳ 18-hole Stableford in the afternoon
🍴 Dinner
🏆 Hole-in-one and winners’ prizes

📅 Price: £75 per person / £300 per team of 4

Bac Zac His Legacy would like to send our love to the family of one of our trustees, who sadly passed away a year ago today.

Siobhan played an active role in the development and rebuild of the Bac Zac website, she was always willing to offer her support to help the charity and was also a strength and support to Zac’s family.

We would like to send our heartfelt love to Siobhan’s husband, Gavin and her daughters Holly Mae and Maddie Willis. We are thinking of them today and always.

Today marks 10 years since Zac sadly lost his battle with Cancer.

Zac meant so much to so many people and a decade later he is still remembered, missed, and spoken about often.

In his memory and after his wishes Baczac His Legacy was created to turn that loss into something positive by supporting young people and raising awareness.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported the charity over the past 10 years through events, donations, volunteering, and by continuing to share Zac’s story.

Your support has helped keep his memory alive while making a meaningful difference to others and as well as small grants and gift vouchers, we are able to offer Zac’s Lodge, respite accommodation for young adults suffering with cancer and their families.

As we mark this milestone, we continue our work with Zac at the heart of it.

🧡 World Cancer Day 🧡

Today is World Cancer Day, a time to recognise the impact cancer has on so many lives and to stand with those affected.

At BacZac His Legacy, we support young adults facing cancer. We do this in memory of Zac and for everyone who deserves support during their cancer journey.

Today, and every day, we’re thinking of those living with cancer, those supporting them, and those we remember. 🧡

We’re launching our Christmas Voucher Appeal once again - a campaign that means so much to us and to the young adults facing cancer treatment over the festive season.

Each year, thanks to your generosity, we provide £25 gift vouchers to young adults spending Christmas in hospitals across the UK. It’s a small gesture, but one that reminds them they aren’t forgotten at a time that can feel especially isolating.

Last year you helped us send vouchers nationwide - and this year, we want to reach even more young people.
