We’re so lucky that the people behind Tor-Rox share our values, believe in what we’re building, and are people we’re proud to have by our side.

Next up, we have Pippa.

We’ve known Pippa for many years, since the University days, so it’s special to have her alongside us on this journey.

Professionally, Pippa brings a wealth of experience in PR and communications, having worked in the industry for more than 15 years. She is currently PR Manager for the UK’s largest equestrian charity and previously spent over a decade working in sport, supporting athletes on the world stage. Her career highlights include being part of the Team GB and ParalympicsGB press teams for the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Pippa is passionate about telling stories that matter, raising awareness and creating campaigns that make a real difference. Her belief in the powerful role sport can play in people’s lives aligns perfectly with what we’re building at The Tor-Rox Foundation and the positive impact we want to have on people affected by cancer.

We’re so lucky to have Pippa on this journey with us.

PGC1’s Trackiversary 5K evening - it was brilliant to see so many runners coming together and getting involved.

A huge thank you to everyone at PGC1 for putting on such a fantastic event and for supporting The Tor-Rox Foundation. It was great to see our banner around the track and to feel the support from such a brilliant running community 🙏

It was all about bringing people together, getting active and raising awareness & support for the work that we do.

We are so proud of everything ETC | Exceptional Fitness Coaching in Northampton is doing to improve the lives of not only the people on our programme but everyone in their facility. It was really heartwarming to receive this testimonial from Emma who is absolutely SMASHING it!

We have had a few new applicants this week, word is getting out about the work we do and it is so beyond exciting to get to have a part in these incredible journeys.

A brilliant evening down at PGC1’s track night tonight! 🏃‍♂️

Great to see so many runners putting in the work and supporting each other on the track.

It was also great to see Josh and learn more about PGC1, exploring how the partnership between PGC1 and The Tor-Rox Foundation could look like - we’re really excited about what’s to come! 🤝

PGC1 will be supporting our Manchester Marathon runners as they take on their challenge for The Tor-Rox Foundation, which is fantastic.

And… 👀 Next Wednesday, PGC1 are hosting their Trackiversary 5K, in support of The Tor-Rox Foundation! 🤍💚

We are so beyond excited to welcome the wonderful Emma MG to the programme!

Oozing with charisma, already an amazingly determined runner and all around superwoman, Emma initially made contact as she is joining us for the Manchester Marathon which will be her first “official” marathon despite running one “by accident” last year and getting the bug - who runs a marathon by accident?! 😂 and turns out she was also a perfect applicant for the program!

She is going to be training with the wonderful ETC | Exceptional Fitness Coaching in Northampton to support her running and become a stronger happier healthier human.

We love you Emma and cannot wait to see your journey 🫶🏼

We had such a fab time this week at August’s Active Networking Club with Active Connections Network! Active Connections

This was the perfect event for us, as we’re so passionate about getting people active, moving and enjoying the benefits of exercise - and what better way to do that than combining exercise with meeting new people?

A morning of netball, laughter, new connections and getting plenty of steps in! 💪🏐

What an amazing morning at Parkrun with The Tor-Rox Foundation! 🤍
A huge well done to our Marathon Runners for taking on today’s Parkrun as part of their journey, and an even bigger thank you to everyone who came along to run, cheer, volunteer, and support.

The encouragement, smiles, and community spirit made such a difference.

Days like today remind us what it’s all about - people coming together to support one another and achieve amazing things 🤍🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

Whether you run, jog, walk or just come along to cheer, come and say hello - we’ll be there from 8:30am.

Parkrun is free, friendly and open to absolutely everyone - which is exactly what we’re all about. Strength and conditioning comes in all shapes and sizes, and a Saturday morning 5k is a brilliant place to start.

Next up, it’s Suzy!

Suzy is passionate about bringing people together and creating unforgettable experiences. With a career spanning live events, hospitality and weddings, she loves turning ideas into reality.

As an event specialist, she delivers festivals, concerts and large-scale events across the UK. She also serves as UK Race Director for HYROX and is an experienced wedding planner, helping couples create their perfect day.

Known for staying calm under pressure and making every detail count, Suzy brings passion, positivity and dedication to everything she does, including our wonderful charity.

Outside of work, you’ll find her staying active, spending time with family and friends, at a concert or possibly somewhere in the French alps!
